Our People
We recognise our people as our greatest asset. We set the standards high and provide first class training, coaching, development and support; creating a culture of learning, leadership and high performance. We are excited to give you the opportunity to meet some of our employees and hear what they say about working at Collection House. I enjoy coming to work each day and passing on some of the experience I have gained over so many years of lending and collecting money. I give a wry smile when I hear people saying that they are in the debt collection business, if they could only realise we are in the "people" business they may find more success. My team has won the National Team of the Month award on two occasions and the Newcastle Team of the month many times. We averaged 100% of revenue target for 2010. I have been married to Louise for over 10 years, we have 4 children and 6 grandchildren, with 2 more due mid-year. The eldest grandchild is 6 and there will be 5 under 2. My favourite past-times are spending time with my grandkids, gardening, bushwalking and doing whatever my wife tells me I want to do. I have been an avid supporter of the St. George rugby league team for 54 years - I know what real pain is. Jeremy - Customer Service Officer Working for Collection House has provided me with the advantages of being a part of a large company, whilst still maintaining the close knit team environment of Midstate. Ryan- Portfolio Manager When given the opportunity to rejoin the Collection House group in 2007, I jumped at the opportunity to come back as a Collection Officer. In the time since I have been provided with extensive training and unmatched support resulting in success when I was given the chance to start the Management Development Program. No more than 12 months later through other members of the management team taking advantage of the company's belief in internal advancement I was successful in being promoted to Portfolio Manager. Coming from a background of sporting, sales and hospitality I have witnessed many different company cultures and now finding a home within the workplace I can only now look forward to a rewarding and supportive career with Collection House. Kurt- Portfolio Manager I joined Collection House in August 2008 with no collections or call centre experience. Starting my tenure as a CSO I quickly picked up what it meant to become a demand collector, achieving 6/9 Targets. After nine months I was successfully appointed into the Management Development program, where I further demonstrated dedication to my role and continued to develop my skills, which saw myself being rewarded 12 months later a secondment to an Acting PM role for 3 months before my successful appointment to Portfolio Manager. One of the major highlights of working for Collection House is the high level of competitiveness that ranging from CSO to CSO, Team to Team and State to State. Which one aspect of life I strive for both in and out of the work place. Taking that same level of competitiveness in all my extra curricular sporting pursuits. Due to Collection House’s flexibility I have been able to successfully maintain all my sporting commitments all year round when I have all my limbs properly attached. Working for Collection House has be a wonderful experience in its self and look forward for what the Company has further to offer. |
